The week started off with THE LONGEST DRIVE ever. Mason did so good for the majority of it, although towards the end had a total meltdown. Can't say I blame the guy with 12 hours in that cramped car sear. We took lots of pit stops and stretch breaks, but sitting in traffic the last 60 miles is what did us in. Luckily, Mason had Aunt Jen sitting with him in the back to help keep him company! Thanks Jen!
Our little Champ about halfway through the drive....
It rained on the drive down, but as soon as we hit Tiki Time, the rain stopped! We unpacked, put on swim suits and jumped in our own private pool! The place was paradise! The house was a little bit older, but perfect. Pretty much every day had the same routine, beach, pool, dinner, hot tub. Mason slept for 11 hours EVERY night! it was wonderful!
Sunday Bill and Jen went to the beach and Mason and I headed to the grocery store with Nana, Renee, Bri & KK. We stopped at the wings store and got Mason a baby float, which HE LOVED!!! Every time we put him in it he laughed and giggled....we definitely have a water baby on our hands! As soon as he is old enough, I am going to sign him up for a Mommy and me swim class at the YMCA!
The rest of the week was alot of the same routine. Tuesday during the day Jen and I went for a little girl time and had massages, which were fannnntastic! As we were leaving, we saw a 35cent wing special and kinda wanted them, but thought we should get back to Mason - well, when we returned there was a maintaince truck in our driveway, and there was no parking allowed on the street. We called Bill, who told us we would "Just have to wait!", So Jen told him, "Ok, we'll be back" and back to the wings we went. They were delicious!
Tuesday night. Renee and Ryan left and Jens boyfriend Brian came. It was so nice to see them together and to see my best friend so happy. Wednesday Jen, Brian, Bill and I left baby Mason with his Nana (win for both of them!) and we went to a wine tasting! It was so fun, right on the water and the weather was beautiful! I volunteered to be the DD because of the breastfeeding, so I relied on the three of them to let me know the good from bad! Bill bought three bottles of his favorite for us to bring home and enjoy together back home after vacation ends.
Thursday night Bill, Mason and I went to Timbuckll for a little family time, just walked around the shops and enjoyed our family. Friday, Mom and I went out for a little shopping together while Mason went to the beach with Daddy, Aunt Jen and Brian. I met up with them later and enjoyed our last afternoon of vacation, which went wayyyy to fast! I can hardly wait to go back next year!
Mason in the pool - loved his floatie!

Hanging with his Aunt BriBri on the porch!
Our little family on the beach!! <3
First feel of the cold ocean and sand!!
hanging with Nana, who Mason adores!
Ready for another day on the beach!
Our families personal paradise for the week!
The end of every day and the end of a great vacation....
