Today we will spend the day cleaning up the house, and packing for the beach!!! We are going to be spending the next week in Corolla, NC with my mom, Meghan&Brandyn, Brianna&KK, my moms friend Renee and her son Ryan, and my best friend Jen and her boyfriend Brian! I am sure this week will be filled with much joking, laughter, good food, sun, pool, ocean and memories as we all spend our first family vacation together with little Mason.
I am so excited to kick back, relax and let all my worries slip away. My theme song quote for the week..."Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair" Next week, I will go back to work after 12 of the most beautiful weeks of my life. I am saddened by this, anxious.....but I WILL NOT let the thoughts of next week ruin this vacation! Our family, between 3 nurses and a trooper, hardly ever get to spend extended periods of time all together (we haven't celebrated a holiday all together on the actual day of the holiday for at least 4 years, one of us is always working!) - so this time will be extra special. I CANNOT WAIT. I can't wait to show Mason the beach, although he will be to little to really understand it. For now, off to the cleaning and packing.
